Bertram 1 clinch promotion at the expense of North Cheshire 1 by virtue of an 11-7 win. 3 Aug: Wallasey Manor 1 regain championship by 1 point from Cheshire Oaks 1. Upton 1 win 2nd division by 5 points. Neston 2 win 3rd division by 6 points and Pinewood 1 just do enough to pip Wallasey Manor 2. Upton 2 just do enough to avoid the drop at the expense of Port Sunlight 2. Prenton 2 have almost certainly won division 4 while Bertram 1 are just favourites for promotion despite the deciding match being at North Cheshire next Tuesday (the only postponed match). Promotion from Division 5 is a double for Neston 3 & 4. Thorndale 2 missed out by 1 point despite gaining 6 points at Neston 3. Alderley 2 confirmed division 6 with a 16-0.
